This webinar will take place from 1:00-3:00 pm Pacific Time.
Supporting ICAP students throughout the job search process requires a variety of different skill sets. In some situations, career coaches and vocational rehabilitation counselors (VRC) may be engaging in case management activities, such as providing students with information and making referrals to help them access services to support successful employment. Other situations may require the application of basic counseling skills, such as cognitive therapy-grounded techniques, to support ICAP students in exploring their beliefs about their ability to be successful in employment. This session is #2 in the ICAP Job Support Series and will continue from last session’s “Getting Ready for the Job Search” to introduce a variety of different strategies and tools, coaches and VRCs can use to support ICAP students in their individualized journey towards successful employment.
This ICAP training is intended for ICAP Career Coaches and leads from the participating community colleges; however, partners from Vocational Rehabilitation are welcome to attend.
