Hosted by the Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability in Cornell University’s ILR School, this webinar will explore practical business engagement strategies that help state agencies, employment service providers, and workforce partners build pathways toward meaningful relationships with employers while advancing competitive integrated employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Participants will:
- Learn about how employer engagement efforts align with New York’s Employment First policy objectives
- Identify approaches for understanding and meeting business needs
- Develop partnerships that create sustainable employment outcomes
Through examples and promising practices, the session will highlight strategies that support both employers and job seekers, demonstrating how effective business engagement can translate Employment First policy into successful employment outcomes.
