Overview

This session will introduce the student-centered planning UI which is an individualized, asset-based practice that centers students’ perspectives, interests, and goals to improve in-school and post-school outcomes for students with disabilities. We will begin by reviewing what UIs are and why they’re important. Then, we will introduce the core components of student-centered planning. Finally, participants will be guided through the Student-Centered Planning Fidelity Tool and how to use it.
