The 2018 NYS Partners in Policymaking class is delighted to offer a free webinar to anyone interested in learning about housing options in New York available to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  John Maltby is co-director of the New York Housing Resource Center, http://nyhrc.org/index.php , a central depository for housing & housing-related services & resources, and will be presenting on this topic Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m.

He is the author of the “Housing Resource Guide” and the “Report to the Housing Task Force” both of which are in wide use in the State, and the creator of the Housing Navigator training program. John is an advocate for his son and for all people with disabilities, and has served on local and national boards of provider and advocacy agencies for many years.
