Finding Disability and Rehabilitation Data and Repositories

  • May 21, 2020

Overview

Secondary data, including survey and administrative data, are valuable resources for testing hypotheses and generating national-level statistics about disability and rehabilitation related-issues. However, it can be difficult to find datasets and identify which are the most appropriate for addressing a specific research question.

This presentation will introduce new functionality in a web-based resource, the Rehabilitation Dataset Directory, designed to assist researchers in finding data and data repositories. The directory is a browse-able/searchable database providing an overview, description, sample and other pertinent information for over 90 datasets and 10 data repositories.
