You are invited to join the Y-ReCONNECTS project team and Matt Saleh in a book presentation and discussion on Thursday, August 18 from 1-2:30 EST. We will be reading The Evolution of the Juvenile Court: Race, Politics, and the Criminalizing of Juvenile Justice by Barry C. Feld. For the event, Matt will start us off with a presentation on the book and then will lead a guided discussion. Matt is a Lecturer and Senior Research Associate at Cornell University, and is Co-PI for the Y-ReCONNECTS Juvenile Justice project. At Cornell, he teaches Disability Law; Prisons; Disability, Employment, and Workforce Development Policy; and Global Comparative Disability Policy. He also teaches a course on gun control policy at SUNY Cortland.

If you are located on or near the Ithaca campus, you can stop by our office to pick up a free copy of the book. Otherwise, it is also available online as a free download here: https://muse.jhu.edu/book/61795. If you are looking for a summer read, please consider joining us for this presentation and discussion.

If you would like to arrange to pick up a paper copy of the book, please reach out to our project administrative assistant, Christine Schmidt, here: yreconnects@cornell.edu.

We look forward to connecting with you in August on this important topic!
