ICAP: Understanding Vocational Rehabilitation Services for People with Disabilities in Oregon

Overview

During this ICAP training, the presenters will share with participants the foundational components of vocational rehabilitation (VR), a federally funded program to support people with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, maintaining, advancing in, and changing competitive integrated employment. This will include the process from referral and application to eligibility, plan development, service delivery, and employment. Participants will gain a better understanding of the role VR plays in ICAP and how Career Coaches and VR counselors can work together to support ICAP participants.

This ICAP training is intended for ICAP Career Coaches and supervisors from ICAP partnering community colleges.
