Speak Up: Using Your Art as Advocacy

Have you ever had trouble standing up for yourself? Even for people who prefer to avoid confrontation, learning to “speak up” is an important part of self-advocacy. In this session, youth and their families are given a space to share their storytelling, visual art, music, poetry, performance as part of a workshop about how personal storytelling is key to communication. Prizes will be offered to participants who share their art or stories.
